A safe and healthy workplace is a productive workplace. Our ISO 45001 Assurance Program provides the necessary support for any organization looking to establish confidence in their ability to consistently meet relevant occupational health and safety (OH&S) requirements, and for improving OH&S performance. It can be integrated into, any of our other assurance programs.
ISO 45001 builds upon other OH&S assurance programs currently provided by Equal Assurance including OSHAS 18001 and AS 4801. ISO 45001 can be provided in conjunction with these existing OH&S assurance programs with very little if any additional cost.
Clients certified to or planning to be certified to OHSAS 18001 should note that accredited certification to OHSAS 18001 will cease to become available as from 30 September 2021. If accredited OH&S management system certification is still desirable clients should plan for migration to ISO 45001 well before the cut-off date. More specifically:
- Audit Plans to OHSAS 18001 cannot be released after 30 September 2020
- Audit Reports to OHSAS 18001 cannot be released after 31 December 2020
- Recommendations for certification to OHSAS 18001 cannot be made after 31 March 2021
